Advanced TEM image processing package

Within the last years, the Energy Filtered Transmission Electron Microscopy (EFTEM) has been established as an important technique to improve image contrast and image resolution for both material science and life sciences. This offers, in addition to conventional TEM, different modes of operation such as electron energy loss imaging and spectroscopy (EELS). Now TVIPS, a world leading manufacturer of high-end cameras for TEM, has introduced his new energy filtered software “EM-SPECTRO”. This software has been developed especially for TEMs (JEOL and Zeiss) equipped with an in-column energy filter. EM-SPECTRO facilitates acquisition and processing of EFTEM-image
series and energy loss spectra. The user friendly interface of EM-SPECTRO enables an intuitive and comfortable operation in both imaging and spectroscopy mode.
