EM-MENU is an interactive software package for advanced image acquisition and processing with an ergonomic user interface for TEM users running under Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP. Images are displayed in a protected screen area using an advanced viewport concept. Optional dual display configuration enables the user to separate image and user interface.
EM-MENU is available in version 3.0 and 4.0.

Electron tomography offers a powerful tool to obtain three-dimensional (3-D) structural information in biology and materials science. A set of 2-D projections of an object recorded at different tilt angles is used for calculating the 3-D reconstruction.
