Project Manager and Application Specialist for TEM

 

Description

 

You will be responsible for new product developments. In addition you will be part of our sales and support group that provides advisory and support service in all questions of TEM applications - especially in combination of digital image acquisition.

 

Responsibilities

 
  • Design and realization of projects in the field of TEM
  • Provide scientific and technical support to our customers and partners
  • Conduct product demonstrations in-house, at exhibitions or at customer site
  • Support of the production group
Qualified candidates should have experience in some of these fields:
  • Operation experience in TEM – especially in combination with digital cameras
  • Basics in sample preparation
  • Knowledge in tomography (acquisition of tilt series and 3d reconstruction)
  • Knowledge in crystallography and methods of determination of nanocrystal structures
  • Knowledge in energy filter applications (EELS)
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written English
  • Confidence with PC Platforms and Microsoft Office tools
  • Basics in software programming, e.g. in Visual Basic
