There are frequent train connections (“S-Bahn”) from Munich International Airport to the centre of Munich and further to Gilching. The trip to Gilching takes 60 – 70 min.

Follow the green “S” signs to the station below Terminal 1. Ticket machines are located next to the escalators and on the platform. All of them accept cash (EURO, notes and coins) and give change, some of them take credit cards. There are also ticket and information desks in both terminals.

Tickets:
Single ticket (“Einzelfahrt Tarifzonen M-5”, 13,00 EUR)
Day ticket (“Single-Tageskarte”, 14,80 EUR)

Partner day ticket (for up to 5 persons, “Gruppen Tageskarte”, 27,80 EUR)

The tickets have to be stamped to make them valid.

You can take S8, alternating every 20 min, to Gilching-Argelsried
S1: Leave S1 at “Hirschgarten” and change to S8 to Herrsching, leave at Gilching-Argelsried

By Car

  • From north – A9 (Nürnberg):
    Leave A9 at junction Neufahrn to A92 in direction of München-West/Stuttgart. At the motorway junction 1-triangle München-Feldmoching Use any lane to follow the signs to A99 direction Stuttgart/Augsburg/Lindau/München-West
    Keep left at the fork and continue on A99
    Keep left at fork, stay on A99 and follow signs for Lindau/Kreuz München-West
    Use one of the 2 right-hand lanes to join the A96 towards Lindau/Memmingen/Germering-Süd
    Take exit 33-Gilching
    Drive to Ferdinand-Porsche-Straße, turn left to Ferdinand-Porsche-Straße 3, Building VIP 96
  • From north-west – A8 (Stuttgart):
    Follow A8 to destination in Gilching, take A96 exit 33-Gilching
    Drive to Ferdinand-Porsche-Straße, turn left to Ferdinand-Porsche-Straße 3, Building VIP 96
  • From south-west – A96 (Lindau):
    Follow A96 to Gilching, on A96 take exit 33-Gilching
    Drive to Ferdinand-Porsche-Straße, turn left to Ferdinand-Porsche-Straße 3, Building VIP 96
  • From south – A8 (Salzburg):
    Take A8 to Tegernseer Landstraße/E54 in Munich, Germany
    Take A96, follow A96 to Gilching, on A96 take exit 33-Gilching
    Drive to Ferdinand-Porsche-Straße, turn left to Ferdinand-Porsche-Straße 3, Building VIP 96
