By aligning and averaging a defined number of images in real-time, TVIPS makes it possible to improve image quality and reduce noise in live images.
This is especially feasible for high frame rate cameras such as TemCam-XF416 (with up to 384 frames per second) and in-situ applications, but can also be used with any other camera to improve data quality straight during image acquisition (no post processing necessary).
The video shows a high resolution example comparing corrected and uncorrected live images. The difference in quality is clearly visible.
